Went to see "Popscene" a Blur tribute band at Mash in Cambridge alongside RT and NG.

All in all a very good gig with a reasonable sonic likeness to the real thing.

The lead singer had a good voice (but crazy eyes), and in a break from their set list they sang "Country House" as their penultimate tune.

RT wore his homemade Blur top and I wore an old unofficial Oasis shirt Best song was probably "The Universal", although "This is a Low" was strangly nostalgic.

The lead singer got a member of the audience to attempt to do the Phil Daniels bit in "Parklife", but it didn't really work.
